A: Yes we will cut and program your keys you purchased from outside sources. This is risky on your behalf. Many keys that are purchased on the secondary market will not program, have incorrect chips, or no chips at all. In addition, some keys become married to the first vehicle and will not program to another vehicle. There are also a lot of scammers out there. I charge $100 to cut and program an outside key. If it fails to program I still charge you a $25 service charge for gas and time.

Q: I don’t have any ID. Can I still get a new key for my car?

A: No. I will do everything I can to help you prove identity and authorization to make a car key but without proper ID and proof of ownership, I won’t be able to make a new key.
